Software engineers

We have considerable experience in the design and manufacture of both High Availability and Safety PLC configurations, comprising redundant CPUs, redundant I/O systems and safety related I/O up to SIL3. These systems incorporate many of the industry standard communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Profisafe, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet and Modbus (RTU and TCP). These networks have been used in various combinations to create reliable, robust and flexible distributed control solutions.

Our team of highly qualified software engineers come from a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Water & Utilities, Automotive and many more. As part of the design process, we produce a package of documentation tailored to the project requirements ranging from IO lists and Functional Design Specifications right through to Safety Plans and PFD Calculations. We have specific experience of complying with Pharmaceutical Industry standards including GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11.

As part of our participation with the Solution Partner Program, ALL of our software engineers are trained and certified by Siemens.
