Overview

P&E Systems can undertake the design and manufacture/supply of Hazardous area control panels, terminal boxes, pushbutton stations to European (ATEX) and North American (Class, Div/Zone) standards.

 

Examples of area classifications of enclosure previously supplied are:

  • Exd Flameproof
  • Exde Increased safety enclosure with Exd indicators & operators installed
  • Exe Increased safety enclosure with internal Ex components installed
  • Exia Intrinsically safe
  • Exp Purged / pressurised enclosure with none ATEX certified components installed

 

P&E Systems have their own certified design of hazardous area enclosure which can be manufactured in any shape or size

Certification will cover ATEX, IECEx and ETL.

Applicable Standards:  IEC 60079-0, IEC 60079-7 and UL 50E (NEMA types 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4 and 4X)
